As we approach the 100th anniversary of the founding of Musashi Higher Technical School (later Musashi Institute of Technology), Tokyo City University is working on various measures with the goal of becoming “a university that brings innovation to the urban stage.

The University conducts cutting-edge research in a wide range of fields, including automotive, energy, architecture, information, urban planning, environment, IoT, and social infrastructure, and by collaborating with local communities and industry, the University returns the results of its research to society.

TCUinnova is a website designed to communicate and connect you with the University’s diverse research and initiatives. The name “innova” is derived from the Latin word “innovare,” the root of the word “innovation. It expresses our desire to bring innovation to society through research that solves urban problems and opens up future possibilities.

Specialists in various fields will be on the frontlines of innovation in the city.
